First client, a med-large retailer.  Went in as Software Manager (replacing retiree after 25+ years at company), bringing in agile and modernizing delivery.

Learned the hard way "culture eats strategy for breakfast", trying a process driven transformation badly crashed and burned (for me anyway), but I learned a huge amount about transformation and people over process.
